VOL 9 - TAURANGA BAY DELIGHT– Just Another Fisherman

One of the things we enjoy most here at Just Another Fisherman is having the opportunity to fish with some very talented anglers who are either customers or sponsored anglers from New Zealand and Australia. Earlier this year over a week period in February Mark Collins, Aaron Styles and Australian JAF angler Andrew Talbot made their way to the Far North to fish the waters out from Whangaroa Harbour.
The plan over the week was to show Andrew what NZ waters had to offer especially our Snapper and Kingfish fishery, We also wanted to get wide to see if we could run over a Marlin and pop the cherry on the JAF Surtees 4.95 Critter Collector. One thing that couldn’t be planned was the weather and with a solid two - three meter ground swell over the week and 10-15knt of wind forecasted we knew we would need to work for our fish.
